Oishinbo Sushi

This sushi spot in the Richmond is a lifesaver when you have limited time in between meetings, errands, or puppy school sessions, and need sustenance. Just order at the counter or online, and you’ll be on your way with loaded special rolls, nigiri, or donburi in hand. The rice is vinegary and plump, and the fish is the quality you’d expect from a great sushi spot in the city. Our go-to is the Oishinbo roll, which is well-stuffed with unagi and snow crab, and topped with tuna, avocado, and spicy mayo. While there are a few seats outside, this place is mostly a takeout operation open for both lunch and dinner.

At Ebisu, in the Sunset, go with the fresh fish of the day off the board, or try the poke roll or 49er roll.
