Dal Milanese

Dal Milanese is a slightly upscale chain from Milan that pours a long wine list. Located on a busy stretch of Hillhurst in Los Feliz, this cozy candlelit spot has a strictly northern Italian menu with dishes like saffron risotto, ravioli del plin, and massive bone-in cotolettas that you can easily split with someone else. But a general issue here is that everything is pretty underseasoned, including that beautiful golden brown milanese steak that would be ten times more satisfying with a lemon squeeze or salt sprinkle. There's better Italian options in town at a similar price, so save Dal Milanese for drinking vino and a few small bites.

Little Dom’s

The Italian American food at Little Dom's in Loz Feliz is generally underwhelming. But come here for a fun night that has nothing to do with the menu.
